Before measuring closely inspect the firebox and look for anything that will hinder the operation of the glass and track system. Things to look for are: protruding screw heads, existing tracks that may have to be removed, damper handles, shields, or venting.
Proceed by measuring the with of the firebox Y/Z. The measure the height of the firebox A/B/C.  Also care must be taken when measuring to insure that the firebox will accept the track assembly see below.
