STOLL MASONRY DOOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Installation of your glass fireplace enclosure is a relatively quick and simple operation.
The only tool you will need is a pair of pliers.
Step 1:
Remove doors from enclosure frame carefully so that finish does not get scratched.
-
Step 2:
Thread 1/4" nut onto 6" bolt all the way to head of bolt, then place washer onto bolt.
-
Step 3:
Thread "L" bracket onto 6" long bolt so that back side of "L" is against washer. (See Figure 1)
-
Step 4:
Thread 6" long bolt into nut which is welded on the back of enclosure frame. Use top nut for maximum height: bottom nut for minimum height.
-
Step 5:
Slide "L" bracket against lintel/brick; tighten 1/4" nut against "L" bracket. (See Figure 1)
-
Step 6:
Replace doors carefully. (If bottom mount is needed, eliminate step 6 and go on to steps 7-9).
-

Step 7:
Fasten bracket to bottom of enclosure frame as shown in figure 2 with 3/8" bolt with side A facing brick/stone.
-
Step 8:
With door frame in place and level, slide bracket against brick/stone and tighten bracket.
-
Step 9:
Replace doors carefully. Once doors are level and aligned, tighten pointed set screws to fireplace.
