SHIPPING POLICY:
PLEASE INSPECT THE SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE TRUCK LEAVES.
All shipments will be carefully inspected and packed before leaving the
warehouses. They will be shipped the best carrier possible (UPS, USPS,
Motor Freight, etc). Responsibility for its safe delivery is assumed by
the carrier at time of pickup. Please unpack carefully. Keep original
packing if there is damaged. Report any damages to the carrier
immediately. CJ's Home Decor & Fireplaces responsibility for the condition
of the goods ends when the carrier accepts them.
It is your responsibility to file claim for damaged merchandise. We can
not file claims, we can only verify.
Common carrier deliveries are curbside only, it will be your
responsibility to unload the truck.
Damage/Loss
ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS INCURRED IN TRANSIT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
CARRIER.

When product is received damaged. you HAVE TO DO THE FOLLOWING STEPS.
1) Fill out damage form online within 24 hours, from web site you ordered,
with all the necessary information.
2) Send picture of damage (box, product etc) to claims@cjshomedecor.com
3) You will receive instruction by e-mail within 48-72 hours how your
claim will be handled.
4) You will also need to retain the merchandise packing material for
inspection by the carrier.
5) CJ's Home Decor & Fireplaces will promptly file a claim on your behalf
if steps above are followed. We can not file claim until you submit damage
form and provide all the information.
6) No exception!
Items Shipped Via Common Carrier: (Ex: R&L
Carriers, USF Holland, FedEx Freight, etc)
Upon receipt, all LTL shipments must be carefully inspected by the
customer and any damages or missing items must be noted on the bill of
lading. Signing for the shipment without notation of any damages on the
bill of lading means that the shipment is being signed for in good terms,
and any recourse to gain credit from the freight company will be lost.
CJ's Home Decor & Fireplaces is not responsible for LTL shipments once
they leave our warehouses.
Claims must immediately be filed with the carrier by consignee/buyer. From
the time a carrier picks up a shipment, that carrier assumes all
responsibility for that shipment. Claim has to be filed by
consignee/customer/buyer - No exception!
RETURNS:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Returns will be at CJ’s Home Decor & Fireplaces, LLC
discretion.
NOTE: ANY PRODUCTS THAT ARE ALTERED BY THE CUSTOMER ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
Do not return any merchandise for any reason without first e-mailing our
customer service department info@cjshomedecor.com. All unauthorized
returns will be refused at our dock. Returns over 10 days from date of
receiving merchandise will not be accepted.
CJ's Home Decor is not a "try is out service". Once you have purchased an
item form one of our web sites a return will be permitted for genuine
defects in the purchased item. We are very customer service oriented but
have had some abuses of our generosity and efforts in the past.
Customer is responsible for returning the item (shipping prepaid) in the
original packaging and in sealable condition. All returns must include
original factory box, original factory packaging (foam, plastic, plastic
on frame, wrappings, etc) blank, unfilled warranty cards, all instruction
booklets and paperwork, along with a copy of your invoice. Do not deface
original factory cartons or packaging in any manner. Please properly
package and insure the item so a claim can be filed with the carrier if
damage occurs during return shipment. Claims can not be filed on items not
properly and securely packaged. Goods are to be returned, freight prepaid,
ALL RETURNS MUST BE AUTHORIZED BY US AND RMA (Return Merchandise
Authorization) MUST BE ISSUED. NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN ON MERCHANDISE
RETURNED WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. Any "Shipping Included" (Free Shipping)
item will have the outbound freight charge deducted from the total refund.
Many items have promotional (reduced) shipping charges - the shipping cost
on your order may not reflect the actual shipping cost. The 10 day time
frame begins when you receive your order. Returns shipped beyond the 10
day time frame will not be refunded and will be returned to the sender at
their expense.
There will be a 35% restocking charge for allowed merchandise returned to
CJ's Home Decor & Fireplaces, LLC warehouse. NOTE: Any outbound freight
(Shipping Included - Free Shipping) will be deducted before refund.
MISSING PARTS OR HIDDEN DAMAGE:
Upon acceptance of your shipment, you have 24 hours in which to notify
CJ’s Home Decor & Fireplaces, LLC @ info@cjshomedecor.com of any
missing parts or hidden damage, not notifying CJ’s Home Decor &
Fireplaces, LLC within this time frame any future
claim for said parts will be null and void. After 24 hours any parts that
have to be sent out to repair merchandise, will have to be paid by the
customer or are shipped COD. We implore you to examine your order in full
upon time of delivery and notify us immediately before accepting delivery
if you find damaged or missing parts.
All claims have to be supported with pictures broken/damaged part, invoice
number and name of purchaser, no claim will be handled/accepted if no
documentation is provided. In some instances we need to have the damaged
goods sent back to us in order to send you a replacement. See returns.
