| MICA GLASS Mica is a transparent mineral used in older, antique wood and coal stoves. It has the appearance of clear plastic or cellophane yet withstands temperature of 1800 degrees F. Because it is a naturally occurring mineral, several smaller pieces cost less than one larger one. Mica is priced by standard block sizes for fractional sizes or sizes not listed, round up to next standard block size for price. Irregular shapes must have exact template with dimensions mailed or sent by fax. Charge for pattern cut is an additional $4.00 per piece. |
