20% of energy loss is due to poorly fitted fireplace flue dampers. Fireplace Door Manufacturing Company's (FDM) door enclosures will virtually eliminate unnecessary heat loss in the winter and will keep heat out in summer.

Safety:
With Fireplace Door Manufacturing Company’s (FDM) tight fitting doors you do not need to wait for your fire to go out before retiring, simply close the doors and sleep easy. FDM doors will keep sparks where they belong while keeping heat loss to a minimum.

Instruction:
Starting a fire - Place grate to back of firebox - Do not build too large a fire; use dry wood - Keep glass doors open while fire is burning.
Please Note: Burning a fire with the doors closed can cause finishes to discolor and glass breakage can occur. This will void the warranty.

Care & Maintenance:
Glass: Glass is tempered to 600 degrees - Extreme heat will break glass - Glass can break if cleaned hot - Clean with soap, glass cleaner, or spry oven cleaner.

Plated Finishes: All plated finishes are protected with lacquer - Clean only with mild soap - Do not use abrasive or metal polish, as this will remove lacquer - On all finishes use turtle wax car polish (Do not use Brasso or any metal polish).

LIMITED WARRANTY
FDM Company will warrant each new FDM product to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use, for one full year from date of purchase.
This warranty is void on any unit, which has been tampered with or has been subject to misuse or accident. FDM will also replace broken glass for one full year from date of purchase. F.O.B. Surrey B.C.
